About the Fellowship

Back in November 2023 we launched the Manchester Baroque fellowship Scheme: The first professional development scheme for emerging historical performers in the North West.

The Fellowship scheme provides performance, workshop and training opportunities for our young performers. Through the generous support of our funders, we are able to nurture the next generation of period instrumentalists in the North West.

‘As one of the first fellows of Manchester Baroque I am very excited to become more involved with this ensemble at the early stages of my career. I have a keen interest in historical performance, and being able to perform side by side with fantastic musicians as well as receive lessons and take part in other events within the community is hugely exciting.’
